This month has been an interesting one to watch. While the global economy is experiencing a severe contraction, according to the RBA on Tuesday, the worst now looks to have passed. While Stage 4 Lockdown in Melbourne is impacting consumer confidence, the RBA noted that Australia’s downturn is not as severe as initially expected and a recovery is underway in most of the country.
