The Bluebird 2021 Vision

Refreshed and now into the full swing of things, we wanted to take this time to welcome everyone back and share our bold plans for 2021!

Over the past two years, Bluebird has demonstrated that we have a different approach to development. At every step of the way, we strive to deliver exceptional projects with exceptional people, while also leading and inspiring others to do more for the industry. We are grateful to all of you for continuing to raise the bar.

Bluebird is proud to be currently working across 20 projects in South East Queensland, and we work with some of Brisbane’s leading developers such as Destination Brisbane Consortium and Consolidated Properties Group.

Coming into 2021 we have a great pipeline of projects, and over the next few weeks, we will be recruiting for a range of new roles to support our continued growth.

We couldn’t be more excited for what the year ahead has in store for us all, and we are proud to share with you our new VISION, MISSION, PLAN, & GOALS for 2021.

As a development company, our Bluebird vision has ALWAYS extended beyond financial success. We are a team with a greater purpose and ‘true north’. We are incredibly passionate about what we do, who we do it with, and how we do it. We believe in the need for a different approach to property development. One that achieves success by doing it the right way.


OUR MISSION

To deliver and share extraordinary projects that go beyond traditional practices by embracing social, environmental, economic & financial sustainability.

We are avid believers in leading by example and delivering projects that go beyond being only ‘luxury’, ‘efficient’ or ‘iconic’. The projects we are a part of embrace our collective need to do more. Our world’s resources are finite. The quality of life, health and wellbeing of our society and communities matters. And by sharing our experience, learnings and ambitions, we hope to influence others to strive for the greater good.

    We will continue to grow our focus on new trends, sustainability, technology, and research. We’re curious and bold. We will always have a “how can we improve this?” mindset, and continually share all of our ambitions and learnings for the greater good.

    We will deliver greater efficiencies across our business that allows us to be a leader in development, customer experience, innovation, quality and sustainability. We will also focus on the happiness of our employees, and have the right people on board.

  • Deliver a high-quality output

    We will enhance everything that Bluebird already does plus more - from project delivery to how you interact with our company. It will be our strong attention to detail, our people and high-performance culture, and we will ALWAYS do what we say we are going to do.


OUR 2021 GOALS

  1. This year, we are expanding our business through ‘Bluebird Development Partnerships’. It is an exciting new extension to our Bluebird offering and we look forward to sharing more on this over the coming weeks!

  2. We will be launching an online ‘Bluebird Development Platform’. Based on our many years of experience in both the corporate and private space, we want to share how to be a better Property Developer, tips and strategies for the development journey, and how to leave a positive legacy.

  3. We will be launching the ‘Bluebird Sustainability Framework’ for setting specific and measurable sustainability initiatives across our business and projects. From this, we aim to continue to lead and inspire others to raise the bar and strive for better across the industry.

  4. We will double our workforce. We are on the hunt for more exceptional people to join our growing team and drive our business into the future. Keep an eye out on our Bluebird Careers page - will be posting details on the positions soon!

  5. We will achieve great outcomes for all of our projects and we aim to exceed expectations for EVERY customer. As Bluebird continues to grow and evolve over the next 12 months, our relationships, services and partnerships will be central to our business.

  6. We will be industry disrupters and thought leaders in our approach to driving new ideas, ways of doing things and ways of thinking in the development space. We will continue to challenge the status quo and will always share our learnings with the industry.
