Commonwealth Private - Property Update Breakfast

Bluebird’s Co-Founder Claire O’Rourke was a panellist alongside Tim Lawless (Head of Research, CoreLogic) at the Commonwealth Private Breakfast event.

The panel shared the latest updates and insights from the Australian residential property market, with a specific focus on Queensland trends.


Australian Property Institute Event & Women in Design and Construction Event

Bluebird’s Co-Founder Riye Arai-Coupe shared and discussed insights on how to build a comprehensive plan for supporting and advancing women in the industry.

Current API membership is only 22% female. The forum spoke about how organisations within the industry can help to promote and encourage other women to take up a career in property.

At Bluebird we understand how important the value women bring to the property and development world and are proud to have been a part of this great even hosted by API and WIDAC!


Sisters On The Saddle - Fundraising

Bluebird was proud to sponsor the Inaugural SOTS Cycling Challenge, which raised $275,000 for TRACTION.

This event entailed a 350km cycling challenge to raise money for vulnerable children. 40 female community leaders challenged themselves to raise $250,000. They cycled from the Gold Coast to Brisbane over three gruelling days and are proud to announce that they raised over $270,000 for vulnerable children!

UDIA Property Fundamentals

Bluebird’s Co-Founder Claire O’Rourke presented at the UDIA QLD Property Fundamental Course. Claire spoke about the importance of research in property development.

As described by UDIA this course “advances participant knowledge across the residential development cycle in Queensland. Taking place across six days in a four-week period, this course is an opportunity to get down into the weeds and explore each facet of bringing a development to fruition”.

The Urban Developer Long Lunch

TUD hosted a long lunch at the The Calile Hotel, Brisbane where the Bluebird team had the opportunity to hear from Catherine Malouf, Ingrid Richards, and Simon Gloftis on how they brought The Calile vision to reality! The event also discussed new approaches to the circular economy, architectural longevity, and aims for an operational carbon neutral target and how these are shaping their vision for future ventures.
