Explore what the Bluebird team got up to this month!
FareShare Australia Kitchen
Claire, Anne and Kate volunteered their time in the FareShare Kitchen. The Property Industry Foundation’s corporate and committee members were also in the kitchen and together the team helped prepare 2,049 meals for people in need!
Bluebird Power Lunch
We would like to thank everyone who recently attended our Bluebird Power Lunch!
A range of guests from developers, town planners, lawyers, bankers, and architects enjoyed each other’s company, some champagne and ate some delicious food. Held at the Iris Rooftop, we shared our stories and experiences facing the industry. It was also an opportunity to share Bluebird’s fantastic EOFY results and celebrate with our friends.
It was great to see everyone sharing their current industry experiences, recent learnings, and providing mutual support through these interesting times!
Girls in Property
Our Co-founder Riye Arai-Coupe spent the day participating in the QLD Girls in Property event this week. As a passionate advocate for diversity and ‘growing our pipeline’, Bluebird is very proud to be a part of another fantastic industry initiative by Property Council of Australia.
Hosted by Sekisui House Australia at West Village, the focus of this program is for Yr 9 & 10 female students to gain an understanding of the tangible opportunities the property industry has to offer, through a project-based learning model.
The students had the opportunity to speak with industry experts, participate in a range of activities, tour the West Village site, and produced proposals for a commercial fit out of the new the Glasshouse building.
At Bluebird we are honoured to work in raising awareness amongst female students on the raft of career paths within property and construction. As leaders, we all have a responsibility to do our part in encouraging greater female participation in the property industry.
