Bluebird presents at KubUnity Residents and Community Event
Bluebird was recently invited to present to the future residents of KubUnity—a new development in Capalaba centred on community and sustainability.
This social and educational dinner was an opportunity to celebrate the new community and allow residents to meet each other, as well as provide useful information on the upcoming settlement process.
The night began with Mayor Karen Williams discussing the Council’s vision for the Birkdale Community Precinct, which is across the road from the KubUnity project. This 62-hectare site is proposed to be a nature reserve with parkland community facilities. It may also host facilities for the 2032 Olympic Games!

Local Councillor Tracey Huges also gave a warm welcome to the new residents and encouraged them to participate in all the fantastic clubs nearby.
Bluebird, alongside GLG Legal and Right Option, then focussed on the upcoming settlement process, touching on conveyancing, mortgages and pre-settlement inspections. It was a crash course in a property settlement to ensure the future residents are now fully prepared with what to expect in the coming months!
Poised as a “celebration of community for the next generation of Redlands homeowners”.
Future residents at KubUnity are a progressive group, with 82% being first home buyers. Even more impressive is the fact that 47% of the new community are female homeowners, almost double the national average of 26.2% (from CoreLogic.)
KubUnity is already sold out, with significant progress on the project underway to ensure new residents can move in the final quarter of this year.
