Future Directions Event
In September, Rachel and Kate attended the Future Directions: Half Time Rewind event held at The Grove in the CBD. These events are always a great chance to focus on industry networking and creating a professional development platform with like-minded professionals. We heard from some industry greats who shared their thoughts and ideas on the last 6 months including what is to come for the future of development in Brisbane. Kate was also thrilled to win the lucky door prize which rounded out the night nicely!
Site tour at Minnippi Quarter by Frasers Property
As part of the UDIA Mentor Program, Riye, Claire, Kate and Rachel attended a site tour at Minnippi Quarter by Frasers Property. We were lucky to be able to spend some time learning about this renewal project as it nears completion. It was great to see that 25% of the site is retained as open space with existing mature trees being maintained. As usual, we were able to spend time catching up and networking with our mentors/mentees as well as the rest of the program’s participants.
Filming with Content Lion
Bluebird’s Co-Founders Claire and Riye had a great time with Content Lion who are working their magic and creating a short video for Bluebird. They filmed and interviewed the team at a beautiful restaurant called sAme sAme in James Street, Brisbane. We will share it with you all as soon as we can… stay tuned!
