We took the opportunity to celebrate and reflect on how fortunate we are to know and work with many amazing women.

Property Leaders Brisbane - 5 BIG IDEAS for Brisbane
Property Leaders Brisbane hosted their annual outlook event where they brought together a diverse panel of four speakers. Bluebird’s Co-Founder Riye Arai-Coupe, Mel Pikos, Matt Gross and Duncan Betts were the four speakers who hypothesised 5 BIG IDEAS for Brisbane over the next decade.
Each speaker had only 1 minute and 30 seconds to present each of their ideas. This event was certainly entertaining but also eye-opening and thought-provoking for all who attended.

UDIA Property Development Feasibility
Bluebird’s Co-Founder Claire O’Rourke and ANZ’s David Byrne presented case studies and interactive financial models to explore the feasibility process and the financing options that exist for developers.
Claire discussed how to find the inputs for your feasibility process plus quantify the risk and return, as well as how key performance indicators can be used to assess the viability of a project.
David spoke about how to identify the different finance options available and outline the typical lending terms. He also provided insight about the technical due diligence that is undertaken before approving a loan.
