Out and About - 2021 Highlights!
Kicking of the New Year, we thought to reflect on a few Out and About highlights from 2021. We have jumped straight back in and cannot wait to see what 2022 brings for Bluebird and the Community.
Supporting Charities
Bluebird supported and participated in charity events throughout 2021. Co-founder Claire O’Rourke cycled a whopping 300km over three days supporting the Chain Reaction and Traction Builds.
Bluebird was also honoured to hold a charity event for BEDDOWN. We organised a team of 35 female property professionals and held a Fundraising Lawn Bowls event at Merthyr Bowls Club. BEDDOWN is a charity for the homeless. They provide a safe, secure, and comfortable place for a great night's sleep.
Bluebird Turns Three
Another great memory from 2021 was celebrating our third birthday with friends, family and of course our wonderful team. Over the past three years, Bluebird has rapidly grown becoming an innovative, well-recognised and reputable company. We are very proud of our achievements and look forward to continued growth and smashing goals in 2022!
Presenting the UDIA Women in Leadership Award
Our Co-founder Riye had the honour of presenting the UDIA Women in Leadership Award to Sandra Browne from Cottee Parker Architects. Congratulations!
This award acknowledges and promotes the role of women in the development industry. Bluebird supports female professionals across all disciplines of the development industry and will always continue to encourage females to pursue their careers in development.
Bluebird Christmas Party
The Bluebird Christmas Party was another highlight of 2021! This was the first celebration of the year where we had all our incredible team members together for the first time.
The team enjoyed a delicious lunch along the Brisbane River at Yoko Dining.
